CarerSupport will leverage the W3C Privacy Preferences Project (P3P) standard, in order to express privacy practices in a format that can be retrieved automatically and interpreted easily by user agents (i.e. client applications),  to allow informal carers to be informed of the platform’s practices (in both machine and human-readable formats) and to automate decision-making when appropriate. The CarerSupport platform will be integrated as an open solution, on the basis of the integration, adaptation and customization of (popular) open source software platforms, such as: MoodlE, BigBlueButton, and LifeRay.
